Yet my heart has been filled as it is where your image resides,

A community of people speaking English language in common and maybe even French,

Only in your language I drench,

To pursue a dream that sprouts from passion,

Nothing less from your never-ending encouragement and motivation,

1095 days abroad,

I hope I do not end up within the casket board,

Maple syrup undoubtedly is a Canadian renowned sweetness,

Yet saying you are way sweeter ain't shameless,

Not skiing or snowboarding off the slope,

Maybe instead I will see the grizzlies,

But you'd be chirping to go for the box crab looking so strange,

Despite the vast beauty and opportunity there,

My hearts badly need suture,

Peeked at the time,

For every second worths more than a dime,

At Times

No one sees it coming,

It ain't a cacophony of colors,

Not even a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,

No lush greenery,

No fields to harvest,

Only devastating hurl of boulders at every turn,

Painful it seems too surreal and extreme,

Even makes climbing a hill of broken glass and knives felt more comforting,

Yet,

Bumps and swells from pounding boulders heal,

Cuts, grazes and lacerations did not leave me bleeding to death,

I have learnt along the way and somethings just kept me going,

Making me want to triumph past all the ill forebodes,

Be it in my brewing stews or concoctions,

Be it me taking it out on the harmless sandbag,

You never realized how you can be inspiring,

Every step I took, seasoning I sprinkle, moment to ponder I took,

You were there,

My inspiration, my strength, my sunshine,

I ain't going to be here long,

Pursuing my dreams with my culinary passion in a foreign land,

A passion that sprung alive...the day I first saw you,

One day I hope I can walk and bounce with you,

With no worries and burden dragging me down,

You have always given me a reason(s) to not back down,

But it does win the battle against BITTERNESS,

The same bitterness that dims the light on ALL that is of "TRUE VALUE" in our lives,
