This year the world out there has
been too big of a park to walk in,
A park where love is lost & found,
A park where the homeless sleep,
A park where pets dispose on their landmines,
However, this is my park out there,
I do dispute living life is “like a walk in the park”,
Withering leaves of forlorn and despair is on the constant basis,
Numbing every feelings and emotions in a lifeless soul,
I have only been living the meaning of life,
Living it to a point; being pointless,
Took a different perspective then,
I choose to embrace the feeling of life instead,
Humbly and patiently nursing the numbness,
Realizing that the park can be a great place for healing,
Serenades from the crickets at night and chirping of birds in the morning,
Soul soothing music to cleanse all pain and despair,
Learning that there is more to life than just working,
Realizing that family is always there,
Supporting faithfully,
Friends are there to motivate without being hesitant,
Finding out how something as simple as a smile can save one’s life,
And loving every bit of laughter and jokes that trails along,
This I can embrace without any doubts,
The true feeling of life,
To smile properly, generously and sincerely; to share and to love unconditionally,
To respect to be respected,
The park turns out to be such a beautiful park to walk in,
My utmost love and wishes of joy, health and wealth to all my family and friends,
